Why did I quit my old job?

Oh, right, because freelancing was too stressful. So, on Tuesday at the elementary school in which I've been placed under duress (which shall remained unnamed but is synonymous with a genre of film often starring John Wayne), we were under "Lock Down" due to a drive by shooting out front and then one of the shooters leaving his car, jumping the fence and running through the kids in the kindergarten play yard, brandishing a gun, in order to elude police. Yeah, this is much better.

I am not freaking out so much about the gun thing as I am about the day to day grind with this class. I spend 90% of the day physically breaking up fights or putting out potential fires before they end up in a fight. I am able to teach for little 10 minute blocks only. It is so frustrating. Plus, the school is being audited by 3 or 4 different state agencies because it is so poorly run and now, due to these audits, everyone is desperately trying to do all the stuff they were supposed to have been doing for years at the last minute. I don't care about any of the audit stuff because 1. I’m new and 2. I want the school to be "outed". I've already refused to falsify documents (as I was subtly asked to do) and I'm hoping the auditors interview me. Problem is, this nonsense heightens the overall stress level, which is already quite high, plus no one is available to answer any of my questions or HELP me in anyway as they are too busy with Operation Cover Up.
